I love tutoring! It gives me the chance to connect with students and help them learn. I have worked as a professional writer for many years, which gives me unique insights into tutoring writing and English. I have degrees in English and Philosophy, with an MA in art history from a writing-intensive program at Vanderbilt University. Education is my passion--I'm editor of a magazine for art teachers!! I taught art history at Belmont University for four years. Art history courses all require writing skills, and I worked with hundreds of students to develop their academic writing. I designed courses at the college level that focused on research and writing.
